OUR STORY
It was hard to refute the math; we simply added up. Master Mechanic (Phillip) + Accountant (Cindy) = Cindy’s Mechanic. We saw a need for Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics when we were living in the Jackson, MI area and decided that with our combined expertise that we were going to give this crazy venture a whirl. We found a utility truck at a great price and went for it. Now it's fully loaded and at your service!

We do that by keeping things simple for you by coming to you, by being honest, and by communicating clearly. Providing you with efficient and quality workmanship by a knowledgeable and reliable Master Mechanic will get your transportation back on the road, which is one of our top priorities (next to safety).

Meet the Team
Jacinda "Cindy" Gutierrez
Owner
Cindy has a Master's Degree in Accounting and over 10 years of experience in corporate Accounting and Finance. She has done it all! From Accounts Payable and Receivables, Practice Management, Budget/Forecasting and Tax to International Accounting and exchange rates. She's your go to for anything office related around here.
Outside of work she is the Commissioner of a local church softball league, Membership Chair of her sons' Cub Scout Troop, enjoys spending time with family and watching her six kids at their extra-curricular activities.
Phillip Gutierrez
Master Mechanic
Phillip has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Automotive Technology and over 10 years of experience in the Heavy-Duty Diesel field. He has a wealth of knowledge from working in different areas of the industry at locations like an International dealership, school districts, an interstate truck stop and a scrap metal yard. Phillip is Master Certified in Heavy Duty Truck as well as Automotive.
In 2019, he was celebrated by Northwest Community Schools and their school bus contractor because he was the only mechanic in Jackson County (and the nearby areas) to have a 100% pass rate of the Michigan State Police School Bus Inspection!
In his spare time, Phillip enjoys heavy-weight lifting and spending time his family of eight!
